The impressive cruise ship AIDANova returns to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin for the fourth and final time this year. Nearly 5 German passengers will stop in our pretty Cotentin port. Once again, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin will be the one and only French stopover and the last destination on the itinerary before returning to the port of Hamburg. The arrival of the AIDANova will close the 880 cruise season and will be marked by a tasting of local products at the Cruise Terminal for cruise passengers on stopover. A new arrival of the red-mouthed ship from the AIDA Cruises company will not be long in coming, the liner will indeed be back at the beginning of January to open the 2024 season!
Boat features
The AIDANova is one of the two largest cruise ships operated by Aida, along with the AIDAcosma, the latter due to enter service during the 2022 season. This behemoth is the first ship in a class called Helios (or excellence according to the shipowners) and whose units have been distributed across different branches of the Carnival group, namely Aida, P&O Cruises, Costa and Carnival Cruise Lines. - Presence of a representative of La Cité de la Mer in the morning;
- Cruise Greeters present to guide and accompany passengers;
- Shuttle service, in partnership with Cap Cotentin, will provide a connection between the Cruise Terminal, the Les Eléis shopping center, the SNCF train station and the city center from 07:30 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
