The Irish mountains and rivers have become the latest playground for sportsmen and thrill-seekers! They gave birth to a whole new sport, halfway between canyoning and climbing: it’s coasteering! A fun sport that will give you an adrenaline rush!
Today, we import it into the Cotentin region, which is particularly well endowed as an exceptional site for this activity.
Coasteering is best done well equipped: a helmet and a wetsuit are mandatory before setting off on steep rocky peaks and slippery rivers without hurting yourself or suffering from the cold!
It can be practiced from 12 years old, and is full of endless possibilities! You will then have plenty of time to climb steep walls, jump into water holes, explore unsuspected caves, or dive into invigorating currents!
Torrents, waterfalls, cliffs, steep coasts… there are plenty of places to have fun!
