How to observe without being seen?
Discovery of the different optical instruments used during the Second World War.
The facilitator introduces children to the different means of military observation during the Second World War such as binoculars, periscopes, rangefinders, telescopes, etc.
Inside an observation post, the children identify the positions of churches, hills and buildings in the surrounding area. They calculate distances using a vintage map.
Little extra: the children make a periscope that they take home.
Duration: 1h30.
