Concert "La nuit du conservatoire"
SCHOOL OF PERFORMING ARTS.
For the 3rd consecutive year, the Nuit des Conservatoires is an opportunity to create an event bringing together several artistic education establishments from the Nord Cotentin network.
Along with the School of Performing Arts, the Cherbourg Conservatory and the Les Pieux Music School will perform on stage.
The musical pieces are arranged by the teachers so that all levels (from beginners to the most experienced) can participate in this ephemeral orchestra. It is an opportunity for young musicians to begin collective practice within a string orchestra: violin, viola, cello and double bass.
In 2024, nearly 70 musicians took part in this event. This year, a second concert is planned at the Buisson hall in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, on Friday, January 31 at 20 p.m.
