Concert : "Les Égarés"
By Ballaké Sissoko, Vincent Segal, Vincent Peirani and Émile Parisien.
A result that lived up to expectations, sumptuous and already legendary.
Ballaké Sissoko (kora) and Vincent Segal (cello) on one side, Vincent Peirani (accordion) and Émile Parisien (saxophone) on the other. With these magicians, 2+2 no longer makes 4, but 1. Because it is a unity of spirit and a fluidity of sound that these strong individuals create together, scorning any competition of ego to put themselves at the service of the common musical good.
Neither jazz, nor traditional, nor classical, nor avant-garde, but a little bit of all of these at once, this quartet creates an independent poetic territory where the ear is the king of instruments.
Where virtuosity is expressed first in the art of being accomplices.
United around a common musical good, it offers a project of incredible freedom, a treat for the ear that travels from Mali to the shores of Turkey, from Armenia to the confines of the worlds of Bumcello, Marc Perrone or Joe Zawinul.
A rare moment of sharing.
