Exposition « La chasse aux goublins, le peuple caché de la Hague et autres diries » – Manoir du Tourp

THE HAGUE
| Omonville-la-Rogue
– Le Tourp
· House of the Hague
La Hague, land of legends? The territory is full of stories of fairies, varous or even goublins but they are often forgotten or unknown.

Sébastien Houillier, a naturalist and passionate about local heritage, has always been fascinated by these fantastic creatures from oral traditions. He has studied them from every angle: their habitat, their habits, their diet and even their reproduction methods. You will also find answers to practical questions in this exhibition: how to attract fairies to your garden? How to observe a goublin? Legends, such as those of the Demoiselle de Gruchy, Colombe or even myths of invasion by the sea are dissected and analyzed in a scientific way, in magical settings.

So that legends do not remain in books, this exhibition offers you a poetic immersion in a magical world where night is no longer synonymous with rest but with quest. It is then up to you to go on a "goublin hunt" so that this rich oral heritage becomes part of our daily lives once again.

To do as a family in the exhibition: the “goublin hunt” game.

Sébastien Houillier's book "The Hunt for Goublins and Other Diries" is on sale at the Tourp boutique.

In the temporary exhibition room.
