Exposition « La Hague, 2.1 milliards d’années d’histoire de la Hague » – Manoir du Tourp

THE HAGUE
| Omonville-la-Rogue
– Tourp Manor
Photographic exhibition by Arnaud Guérin, outdoors.
La Hague is 2,1 billion years of Earth's history, that is to say almost half of the history of our planet that is told in its subsoil and on its coastline. It contains the oldest rocks in France, the roots of three mountain ranges, the remains of explosive volcanic eruptions and climate archives preserved for 220 years. La Hague is also landscapes, architecture, agricultural production and local products, shaped, created, imagined and produced by men and which highlight the expression of this exceptional land. Throughout this exhibition, geologist, photographer and author Arnaud Guérin takes you on a wonderful journey through time to discover La Hague. Original images brought back from the four corners of the planet illustrate the phenomena that have marked the great pages of this history. In this exhibition, the image and the landscapes are the gateway to discover a fantastic story worthy of the best novels of Jules Verne. So, follow the guide and have a good trip!
