Exposition "Peintres en Cotentin"

46 painters, sculptors and photographers will exhibit their works for 15 days. The guest of honor is Pierre-Kazuo Iwamura, a painter from Japan, born in 1949 in Kawasaki. At a very young age, he became interested in art and taught himself before training for four years in Tokyo. Passionate about French art, especially the Impressionists and Cézanne, he moved to France in 1974 and exhibited in Paris. In 1979, he chose to live in Valognes where he devoted himself to painting Normandy landscapes. His work explores light and the harmony of colors, capturing simple and natural scenes. Today, he shares his passion by giving drawing lessons in his studio.
