Festival SPRING : Et la mer s'est mise à brûler
ACROBATIC AND CINEMA-GRAPHIC FICTION
Two half-brothers meet for the first time at the funeral of their father, who disappeared at sea. Sido never knew his father. He doesn't even know what he looked like. He has only one idea in mind: to put an image on this man who abandoned him as a child. On this occasion, he meets Rémi, a hot-headed little brother, as weird as he is clingy.
Between fantasies and flashbacks, the two young men go in search of their roots to better understand who this ghost is that connects them in spite of themselves. And the sea began to burn
is a circus piece of storytelling, which questions the fraternal bond, mourning and the pitfall of virility at an age when we lock away our fears, our hearts and our emotions.
Duration: 1 hour – ages 9 and up – At the Podium, Les Pieux
Partnership with La Brèche, National Circus Center of Normandy
