What if we sang?
The originality of this project lies in the commission made to the composer and former singer Diana Soh. Composed for the occasion, the program links the Renaissance repertoire to her own music. It is a unified program where styles intertwine and where baroque and pop voices collide under the composer's pen. Unlike our British neighbors, the vocal quartet is a formation that is not very present in France. This is why this project brings together four brilliant personalities who will perhaps form the next generation of the vocal quartet in France. Diana Soh, a Singaporean composer, after studying in the USA, lives and works in Paris. Passionate about the theatrical gesture, she inserts the issues of our society into her musical creations; her musical writing is also largely nourished by new technologies. Her work has been rewarded with numerous international prizes.
