Le Trident : Du pain plein les poches

A dog in a well is unacceptable. But before acting, we ask ourselves questions, many questions. After all, it's not our fault... Two men wander around the edge of a well. They go around in circles, soliloquize and insult each other, prisoners of a comically tragic situation. At the heart of the plot, an invisible (but sometimes audible) dog at the bottom of a well. Should the beast be rescued? If so, how and with whom? If not, what will be the consequences?
The two characters procrastinate, hesitate, and pass the buck. Their indecision and cowardice will lead them into a series of hilarious and surreal situations. Between laughter and emotion, this political fable by Matei Visniec, a French playwright of Romanian origin (he knew the Ceausescu dictatorship well…), takes us on an unexpected journey. What would you do when faced with the unimaginable?
