Le Trident HLM : A la pointe de tout
How can tales, legends and collective stories help us create a common fiction? How does a territory affect our lifestyles, our attitudes, our personalities?
This is what Le Trident wanted to know by meeting the inhabitants of Val-de-Saire and more precisely of three towns: Saint-Pierre-Église, Fermanville and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.
Sailor's wife, oyster farmer, magnetizer, former lighthouse keeper, genealogist, librarians, water diviners, farmers, elected officials, 8-year-old girls or 13-year-old teenagers, teachers... we went to meet those who live and create this territory day after day. From these meetings was born a collection of words and then writing workshops with adults and children. Our challenge was to bring out a collective word. A real and invented history of the Val de Saire. From the great History to intimate stories, from everyday anecdotes to rural legends, from a crazy attachment to this Val de Saire to a "temporary exasperation" of the clouds, from everything that is told from generation to generation...
From these interviews and writing workshops, Aymeline Alix, actress and director, born in Cherbourg and living in Paris, has made a theatrical story that she will stage with the inhabitants of the area.
In short, a choir of residents around a collective creation to tell the Val de Saire in a fun, theatrical and documented way. Children, adults, come and play with us!
Duration: 45 min.
From 8 years old.
