Le Trident – jeune public : Pinocchio

An adaptation for children aged 8 and over with 3 actors who play lots of characters, music and... surprises!

When we ask the collective La Cohue why they wanted to create this show, they respond:

“We like Pinocchio:
Because it is just a piece of wood or a log that can be found in any garden or forest.
Because we imagine him eating Italian ice cream and pizza all day long.
Because he is talkative like our son, but also vulgar, angry, arrogant, mischievous and naive like all children.
Because he is poor like his father Geppetto (and we speak better of the poor than of the rich).
Because he has a gift for tragedy, and there is no one better for making theater.
Because he is against the established order and we also want to burn everything, but we can't, because our main character is all made of wood.
Because he lies like a lunatic, and we love it.
Because he is a manipulated and manipulative puppet!”
