In France, one person in twenty does not believe that man walked on the Moon.
The Maladroits are regulars at the Trident. After welcoming Brothers, Comrades and Players, our national stage accompanies them in their new creation: A reconstruction of the first step on the Moon to thwart conspiracy theories.
“A childhood dream. We want to create a jubilant theater. A filmed object theater with special effects cobbled together on sight. A theater that enjoys recreating a key moment of the 20th century. When we think of the first step on the moon, we imagine our parents as children in front of their black and white televisions. We want to bring this moment back to life for the public by reconstructing it with our bric-a-brac, with our objects diverted from their uses, with cameras and screens, with archive images filmed to recreate a live animated film. We will replay the takeoff, life in the capsule, the landing of the module and the lunar gravity jumps.”
