Villes en scène > Relative World – B21 Compagny

BRICQUEBEC-EN-COTENTIN
| Bricquebec
– 43 Place Sainte-Anne
The epic of two souls who love each other. One is in the world of the living, the other in that of the dead.

Relative World tells us about a couple separated by death. About a deceased woman who refuses to leave the one she loves forever. About a man who would like to revive the one he cherishes.
Across parallel universes, they find each other, master time and achieve eternal union. Their dance, like a living force, awakens and shocks bodies, thanks to the striking choreographies that face the challenges of life with virtuosity and determination.
From motionless races to disarticulation, their bodies express the pain and rejection of separation. If they still waltz together, their chests arch as if under the effect of electric shocks. In a singular aesthetic imbued with science fiction, choreographers Manon Contrino and Toufik Maadi shake up our relationship with time, death and love.
