The current 3e largest European liner, the MSC VIRTUOSA, will be stopping off again in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, this Sunday November 6 from 09:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. On board a large majority of British passengers and more than 2 cruise passengers on board. This stopover marks the 300nd and last scheduled arrival of the ship this year.
Derived from the MSC MERAVIGLIA, this series of liners was ordered by MSC from the Saint-Nazaire shipyard. They have the particularity of being hybrid, being able to run on LNG. These are the largest liners built for the Italian-Swiss company at the moment, before the delivery of the World Class, the prototype of which, the MSC EUROPA, will be put into service in 2023. © APPM Association His/her family name virtuous, pays tribute to the skill and expertise of the architects and partners of the MSC Cruises shipyard as well as the Atlantic shipyards who designed and built this innovative class of ships.

The Information Office at the Cruise Terminal from 09:00 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. | Visit from a representative of the Cité de la Mer from 09:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Cruise Greeters will be present to guide passengers during the stopover.
A photo exhibition entitled “Treasures and lights of Cotentin” by Arnaud Guérin accessible to cruise passengers throughout the duration of the stopover at the Cruise Terminal.
A shuttle will provide the connection between the Cruise Terminal and the city center from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. in partnership with Cap Cotentin.
