Barneville-Carteret, 9th Green Station of La Manche

At the end of 2022, the French Federation of Green Stations, 1st ecotourism label in France, awarded the Station Verte label to Barneville-Carteret.

Green Station is a national tourist label created in 1964 by the French Federation of Green Holiday Resorts and Snow Villages, an association under the 1901 law and signatory, since 1998, of a
agreement with the Ministry in charge of Tourism. The Federation is administered by a Board of Directors made up of local elected officials, volunteers, who meet members for
support in promoting the label in their territory.

Her goals

Promote and develop nature tourism in rural communities in order to contribute to the preservation of local areas and their economic dynamism.

His missions

Label, support, promote and represent tourist communities that respect the values ​​supported by the Green Station Charter.

Barneville Carteret
