Self-service electric scooters and bicycles are deployed Cherbourg-en-Cotentin.

The city has made its public domain available to Bird, in partnership with FIL ET TERRE, to deploy its fleet.
This new mobility service allows residents and visitors to travel throughout the territory.

How does it work?
● Download the Bird app for free on the Google Play Store ou Apple App Store,
● Create a personal account and add a payment method (CB or Paypal),
● From the map on the application, find the Bird vehicle closest to you among the 155 locations spread throughout Cherbourg-en-Cotentin,
● Scan the QR code or enter the code written on the vehicle,
● Get on the scooter or bike… and off you go!

Prices: 1€ for unlocking the vehicle then a countdown/minute.

Access to the service is reserved for those over 18 years old. The highway code applies. Bird recommends wearing a helmet. Vehicle speed is limited to 25km/h, and 10km/h in pedestrian areas/city centers. Travel on cycle paths as a priority – Circulation on sidewalks is prohibited.
