Renaissance castle in blue schist, restored at the end of the 19th century by René de Tocqueville, who also created the landscaped park which surrounds it, with a rotunda greenhouse and water features.
The estate, owned by the town of Cherbourg since 1935 and classified as a Historic Monument in 1996, extends over 18 hectares.
Ideal for walking and discovering gardens and natural spaces, the park has been labeled Remarkable Garden since 2004.
