The liner BRITAIN, will make its first stopover of the year at the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, this Thursday April 14, 2022, from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m., Quai de France. Nearly 2 passengers, mainly British, are expected on board. A family clientele is to be expected since our neighbors across the Channel are also during school holidays. Cruise passengers will be able to enjoy the festivities organized during the Cherbourg Carnival during their stopover.

Built in the Fincantieri shipyards of Monfalcone in Italy, the Britannia is not only the largest ship ever built for the British market and in particular by the company P&O Cruises before the arrival of IONA and ARVIA, it combines the glamor of a cruise with the sophistication of a five-star hotel. Delivered in 2015 and christened by Queen Elizabeth II, its “So British” bow makes it a true ambassador of the English art of living. © MonaCruises
