The AIDAsol liner will make its inaugural stopover, Monday October 18, Quai de France, from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m. at the port of Cherbourg.

Monday October 18 from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m. and for the first time, the company's AIDASoL ship AIDA Cruises, will be at the Quai de France at the port of Cherbourg. On board, around 900 passengers, the majority of whom were German.

The AIDAsol is the fifth in the Sphinx series, it was built at Meyer Werft and delivered in 2011. It has 1097 cabins, 728 of which face the outside. In addition to all the usual amenities and exceptional service from AIDA, passengers are also offered the opportunity to taste a craft beer, made and fermented on the high seas with natural ingredients, since the boat has its own brewery.

Fun fact: the AIDAsol was named like this by Bettina Zwickler. This complete stranger was selected after a competition in which 1 candidates were auditioned.
