The CRYSTAL ENDEAVOR liner will make its inaugural stopover, Wednesday September 29, Quai de France, from 11:30 a.m. to 22 p.m. Initially scheduled at the port of Caen-Ouistreham, the company modified its itinerary for nautical reasons.

CRYSTAL ENDEAVOR, the brand new and latest ship from Crystal Cruises, is the largest and most spacious luxury expedition yacht in the world. To make the most of the beauties discovered during these expeditions, the boat provides its passengers with 2 helicopters and a small submersible.

Excursions offered on board

Excursions are provided by Cruise Services. Proposals on the following themes: Landing beaches (Omaha and Arromanches), Bayeux and its tapestry and Cherbourg and the flavors of Normandy.

For this stopover, the Crystal Cruises company also allows passengers, not going on an organized excursion, to go to the city center. Around 100 passengers, mainly Americans, will be on board the CRYSTAL ENDEAVOR during its stopover in Cherbourg, i.e. 50% of its maximum capacity.

Several services, usually offered by the Cruise Service of the Cotentin Tourist Office during a cruise ship stopover, still remain reduced (absence of exhibitors in the Cruise Terminal and Cruise Greeters, no tasting of local products, no shuttle bus from the Cruise Terminal to the city center).

The Tourist Information Office will be open at the Cruise Terminal from 12:30 p.m. to 15:00 p.m.
