The giant of the seas Sky Princess belonging to the eponymous Princess Cruises company, is visiting our beautiful Cotentin destination this Friday, November 29. From 07:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m., the 3 passengers, the vast majority of whom are American, will make their first scheduled stopover on their transatlantic itinerary – and their only French stopover – in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. This third visit of the Sky Princess will also be her last of 400 in our Cotentin port.

A stopover from SKY Princess does not go unnoticed! This mastodon, sistership of the Royal Princess or Regal Princess, was put into service on October 15, 2019 and is part of a series built for the Carnival group and whose members were distributed in two branches, namely Princess Cruises and P&O Cruises. A little nod to history, the SKY Princess takes the name of another liner which was built in La Seyne Sur Mer in France in 1984 and which served in the fleet between 1988 and 2000. The latter was demolished in 2013 under the nameANTIC. © Liners & Merchant Marine Association
