Friday July 15 and Saturday July 16, overnight.

The elegant and minimalist cruise ship, HEBRIDEAN PRINCESS will be on a stopover, with a night at the dock, at the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin from Friday July 15, from 13:15 p.m. to Saturday July 16, morning at 8:00 a.m. On board, 43 British passengers are expected. They will be able to take advantage of both the good weather forecast in the region and also the Drheam Cup events.

The COLUMBA is the last in a series of 3 ferries (after HEBRIDES and CLANSMAN, now demolished) built for the Scottish Secretary of State and operated by David MacBrayne Ltd between Oban and the Isle of Mull. It will then be placed on other lines in Scotland. In 1988, it was acquired by a new company, Hebridean Island Cruises, which transformed it into a luxury liner. It underwent a major overhaul and reappeared in 1989 as HEBRIDEAN PRINCESS. From July 21 to 29, 2006, she was chartered by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for her family vacation around the Scottish islands to mark her 80th birthday, a charter which will be renewed from July 23 to August 4, 2010. ©APPM Association
