Thursday June 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.

The luxurious little expedition ship SILVER CLOUD, owned by the Silversea Cruises company, will make an unscheduled stopover tomorrow, Thursday 1er June, at the Quai de France, from 10 a.m. to 00 p.m. This unexpected arrival at the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin is due to strong winds having already disrupted the ship's Breton stops. The company will therefore offer its approximately 19 passengers, mainly Americans, a stopover in Cherbourg replacing the stopover initially planned in Roscoff. After this last French stopover, the ship will head towards the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The Silver Cloud ship is an exceptionally elegant small ship, not only in terms of its design, but also in terms of the services it offers. Designed with finesse and designed for comfort, the cruises it offers are exceptional, since its small size allows it to frequent ports inaccessible to conventional boats. It can accommodate up to 260 passengers, but polar expeditions, launched in 2017, are restricted to 200 passengers, which offers one of the most competitive space-to-passenger ratios on cruise ships. They also reserve a fleet of 20 zodiacs for expeditions as well as 10 kayaks, which offers unique outings for all travelers. It is designed to offer only suites to its passengers who can choose from a wide range of elegant cabins which all have a private balcony. ©Silversea
