This Wednesday, April 20 announces the inaugural arrival of theENCHANTED PRINCESS, from the company Princess Cruises and the return of customers across the Atlantic to the Cotentin territory. On board, nearly 3 passengers, mainly Americans, are expected, of whom around 000 will go on excursions to the sites of Cotentin, Manche and Normandy.

THEEnchanted Princess was one of the liners put into service during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was originally scheduled to be delivered at the end of 2020 but will finally make its inaugural cruise on November 10, 2021 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Just like its sisterships in the Princess Cruises fleet, it is equipped with a special foghorn (in addition to the conventional one) which emits the sound of the soundtrack of the famous television series "The Cruise has fun", which was filmed in left aboard the company's liners. © APPM Association

Passengers will be able to benefit from the services set up by the Cotentin Tourist Office

  • The Information desk at the Cruise Terminal from 7:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. | Visit from a representative of the Cité de la Mer from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Cruise Greeters will be present to guide passengers during the stopover.
  • A shuttle will operate from 9 a.m. to 18 p.m. between the Cruise Terminal and the city center, in partnership with Cap Cotentin.
  • A photo exhibition entitled “Treasures and lights of Cotentin” by Arnaud Guérin accessible to cruise passengers throughout the duration of the stopover at the Cruise Terminal.
  • Carriage rides will be offered by Attelage et patrimoine en Cotentin, departing from the Tourist Office.
