Le MSC VIRTUOSA, 3e largest European liner, will drop anchor for the sixth time of the year in the port of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. This regular, from the eponymous company MSC Cruises, will offer its some 4 British passengers our beautiful port city as their last stopover! The itinerary is identical to that proposed during his visit last week, passengers will therefore disembark the next day, Saturday 600er July, in the United Kingdom in the port of Southampton.

Derived from MSC MERAVIGLIA, this series of liners was ordered by MSC from the Saint-Nazaire shipyard. These ships have the particularity of being hybrid, able to run on LNG. These were the largest liners built for the Italian-Swiss company before the delivery of the World Class including the prototype, the MSC WORLD EUROPE, commissioned in 2022. The Information Office at the Cruise Terminal from 07:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. | Arrival of a representative from the Cité de la Mer in the morning.

Cruise Greeters will be present to guide passengers during the stopover.

A photo exhibition entitled “Treasures and lights of Cotentin” by Arnaud Guérin accessible to cruise passengers throughout the duration of the stopover at the Cruise Terminal.

Carriage rides will also be offered from the city center by the Association Attelage et Patrimoine du Cotentin.

A shuttle will provide the connection between the Cruise Terminal and the city center from 08:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. in partnership with Cap Cotentin.
