The luxurious ship SEABOURN OVATION, owned by the Seabourn Cruise company, will call on Monday April 24 from 08:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. This small ship, only 210 meters long, coming from across the Atlantic, will offer its 487 cruise passengers, mainly Americans, a first French stopover in our Cherbourg city. This intimate liner offers, with its sistership, the SEABOURN ENCORE, ultra-luxury cruises with a relaxed chic atmosphere.

Le SEABOURN OVATION is the newest ship in Seabourn's fleet. It was inaugurated in Valletta, capital of the island of Malta, on May 11, 2018. The evening was crowned with fireworks. It has very comfortable cabins with private balconies and offers a high ratio of space per passenger. © APMM

Les excursions offered on board :

Day excursions are offered to the beaches of Déparquement and Bayeux, as well as a half-day guided tour of Cherbourg, a visit to the Château des Ravalet, Sainte Mère-Eglise and Utah or even a bread workshop at Marie Ravenel's water mill.

Passengers will be able to benefit from the services set up by the Cotentin Tourist Office

The Information Office at the Cruise Terminal from 08:00 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.

Cruise Greeters will be present to guide passengers during the stopover.

A photo exhibition entitled “Treasures and lights of Cotentin” by Arnaud Guérin is accessible to cruise passengers throughout the duration of the stopover at the Cruise Terminal.

A shuttle, set up by the tour operator, will provide the connection between the Cruise Terminal and the city center from 08:30 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.
