→ Visible free of charge on the days and times the site is open.

These are the stories of these exceptional birds that the scientist and photographer Arnaud Guérin went to seek out, sometimes in what we call “engaged” conditions, in all the oceans of the planet from Spitsbergen to New Zealand, from the Galapagos to Iceland and in the Faroe Islands. Beyond the visual emotion, these birds will reveal to you the riches and challenges of our planet. A photographic journey with scientific depth of field... to be discovered in very large format...
This exhibition mounted in partnership with the Festival de Montier en Der and the Festival de l'Oiseau en Baie de Somme with the support of Canon France.

Arnaud GUERIN

Scientist, professional photographer, author of books and documentaries for television (ARTE & France 2) and thematic travel guide, Arnaud Guérin has always been passionate about the Earth and Nature. If speaking and writing are two means of expression that he particularly appreciates, it is with photography that he captures the public's attention and brings them into the world of science and travel. Since his first trip to Iceland, he has been touched by a devouring passion for seabirds. Since then, he has captured their life on the coasts or on the high seas from the coast of the Channel Islands, Scotland, Iceland or from the Faroe Islands to the Galapagos, New Zealand and even Spitsbergen… These are the photographs that represent the history of the sea that Arnaud presents to you as part of this exhibition.
