Like in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, if you find a Cotentin Unique par Nature bean in your cake, you win!

“The Kings and Queens of Cotentin” is a unique initiative that highlights local pastry artisans and creators.
It is an opportunity to rediscover the richness of our territory through the traditional galette des rois, while supporting our local artisans.


The operation brings together three passionate pastry chefs, Jean-François Foucher, Willy Yvard et Robin Girard who perpetuate the tradition of the galettes des rois. Each, in their own way, highlights the riches of the Cotentin terroir, offering residents and visitors a much-appreciated gourmet experience.

From Friday 3 to Friday 31 January, 100 Unique par Nature Cotentin beans, made by Yukouli (Julie AGNES) ceramist from Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, will be hidden in the cakes of our 3 artisans.

To take part in the “Les Rois du Cotentin” operation, simply buy a galette des rois from one of the three partner pastry chefs: Jean-François Foucher, Willy Yvard or Robin Girard.

If you find a “Cotentin Unique” bean, go to Cherbourg-en-Cotentin Tourist Office or Valognes with the bean to find out which prize you won.
