Cherbourg-en-Cotentin

The famous English race starting from Cowes (Isle of Wight – England), organized by the legendary “ Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) » created after the first edition in 1925 will welcome no less than 450 vessels of all classes (Ultim, IMOCA, Class 40, IRC, etc.), mixing professionals and amateurs, for a triumphant arrival in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin in 2025.

Registrations for the Rolex Fastnet Race 2025 are expected to be even higher due to the centenary of the Royal Ocean Racing Club and the return of the Admiral's Cup.

Since 2021, Cherbourg-en-Cotentin has had the honour of hosting the arrival of the prestigious Rolex Fastnet Race. Thanks to the world-class infrastructure of the port Chantereyne, the city can accommodate the world's largest offshore racing fleet.

This international event is made possible thanks to the support of the Cotentin Urban Community, the City of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, the Manche Department and the Normandy Region.
