Hôtel Le Landemer

Magical place opening 180° onto the sea, built in the 1870s, and completely restored in 2014, the hotel has 9 very comfortable rooms, all sea views, a semi-gastronomic and panoramic restaurant bar on a veranda overlooking the sea. 4 bedrooms in the farmhouse also have private terraces.
Boris Vian, Jacques Prévert, Edith Piaf, Marcel Cerdan, Françoise Sagan and Claude Monet to name but a few have left their mark on this place, at the end of the long fine sand beach of Urville–Nacqueville, about ten kilometers from Cherbourg. Finally, Landemer marks kilometer zero of the Chemin des Douaniers, an 80-kilometer coastal path (GR223), along this dazzling coastline: La Hague.
