As part of its development, the Tourist Office is recruiting 2 Junior Sales Representatives for the group market.

Missions

Within the Marketing department, your missions will consist of:

  • Develop the turnover of tourist products for the group market aimed at several targets: Tour Operators, Associations, Companies, etc.
  • Define and implement a marketing and promotion strategy for tourist products based on the existing catalogue: reference the Cotentin offer: highlighting on the OT website and on the WEB, putting it in a brochure, etc., implement marketing methods for the different products (phoning, e-mailing, web marketing,
    trade fairs, etc.), monitor and evaluate the effectiveness, reliability and profitability of
    different marketing channels.
  • Develop the customer network: boost sales, build customer loyalty, attract new prospects.
  • Monitor the catalog and product range: analyze the offer of the OT and the territory (products, services), monitor changes in tourist demand by type of public: competitive intelligence, create/adapt new products in line with current or potential demand by customer segment (themes/targets).
  • Develop new commercial partnerships: mobilize socio-professionals in the area, negotiate preferential rates, commissions for the TO, measure the commercial benefits for the TO and the service provider.

THE PROFILE

  • Master 2 Tourism or Business School with 2 years of professional experience in sales,
  • Proficiency in the Office suite,
  • Proficiency in English (CEFR level B2), German would be a plus,
  • Sense of negotiation,
  • Sense of customer service,
  • Reactivity,
  • Autonomy,
  • Team spirit,
  • Agility: ability to manage several files simultaneously,
  • Knowledge of the Cotentin region would be a plus but can be acquired,
  • Holder of the B permit.

Conditions

Vacancies au 1er February 2025: 12-month fixed-term contract and permanent contract

  • Duration and times: Full-time weekly duration of 35 hours,
  • Location: Positions based in Cherbourg in Cotentin with travel throughout the region.
  • Remuneration: Remuneration based on the salary scale of the Tourism Collective Agreement and according to experience.
