During the Belle Époque, Parisians flocked to the beaches of Normandy to treat themselves for respiratory illnesses. In May 2021, after curfews and other travel bans, we tried to exorcise Covid by traveling through the Cotentin on gravel.
Hilly landscapes, vestiges of the Landings, bumpy paths laden with spray, as well as an anthology of specialties.
This peninsula, formerly a peninsula, has all the makings of a paradise for cyclists looking to escape.
