The trails of Killer Waves mainly focus on the municipalities of Fermanville, Maupertus sur Mer, Carneville and St-Pierre-église. The races take place completely independently for the runners. This trail winds through local roads, wooded paths and the Val de Saire coastline.
The two races forming part of the Cotentin Trail Challenge are the following :
- September 28: Le Tue-Vaques (15 km),
- September 28: Le Grand Tue-Vaques (30 km).
The essential points to discover during the event are the Fermanville viaduct, Mondrée beach, Cap Lévi via the famous GR223. The start and finish of the race is at Place Marie-Ravenel. The maximum duration of the races is set at 2 hours 15 minutes for the Tue Vaques trail and around 4 hours for the big Tue Vaques.
Distances of the Tue-Vaques events
- The Great Vaques Killer: Distance of 30.4 km with an elevation gain of 472 m. This trail is part of the Cotentin Trail XL Challenge,
- The Vaques Killer: Distance of 15.7 km with an elevation gain of 256 meters. This trail is part of the Cotentin Trail L Challenge,
- Le Tue-Vaques Discovery : Distance of 8,9 km with an elevation gain of 100 meters.
