Want to rediscover the routes of the Mad Jacques ? Whether you are a seasoned hiker or simply a nature lover, these routes promise to reveal all the facets of the Cotentin!
From the countryside to the beach
In 2023, the first edition of the Mad Jacques Trek took up residence in the Val de Saire, revealing the hidden treasures of this corner of the Cotentin. Who said that trekking was limited to the mountains?
The route winds through the Normandy countryside, between historic manors and pastures, to the wild beaches of the coast, with breathtaking views of the Gatteville lighthouse and the Vauban Towers of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue.

The Channel of wide open spaces
Mad Jacques is back in force in 2024, this time in the hague !
For the second edition, head to the wild coast of La Hague. There, a completely different adventure awaits you: Biville dunes, cliffs, picturesque villages, sandy or pebble beaches and coastal paths offering breathtaking views of the area.

The Cotentin Tourist Office also offers hiking and cycling circuits and routes on Komoot.
