Presentation

Small seaside resort created at the beginning of the 20th century, on the Côte des Isles.

” Surveillance of areas reserved for swimming will be ensured by volunteer fire rescuers when the flags are raised on the signal pole.
All swimming is prohibited and dangerous in the access channel to the port, the north and south harbour, at the level of the PEP and the VVF. Anyone who swims does so at their own risk, even on the beaches of Lindbergh in Saint Lo d'Ourville and Denneville, which are unsupervised beaches.

Dogs, even on a leash, are prohibited on the beaches in July and August from 9 a.m. to 19 p.m. They are tolerated on a leash outside of these periods. In the event of droppings, owners are required to remove the droppings.

During the months of July and August, the movement of horses is authorized before 10 a.m. and after 19 p.m., in low water areas, outside the supervised swimming area and the sand yachting area.

Fishing on foot using bottom lines is prohibited from June 1 to September 15 inclusive in the area between “la Caillourie” up to 200 m beyond the property occupied by the VVF as well as in the southern harbor of Port-Lease.
