Like every yearAssociation of Chemins du Mont-Saint-Michel organizes its Spring March, over 3 days. This year, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the inauguration of the Path to the English, the choice of the Association fell on departure from Barfleur, direction Montebourg.
For this 9th Spring March, come and discover the first stages of the Chemin de Barfleur, in Cotentin, and revisit the Val de Saire and the Plain, their history, their heritage and their remarkable landscapes.
We will mainly follow the Coastal path (GR® 223), departing from Barfleur, a medieval port where English pilgrims disembarked on their way to Mont-Saint-Michel and beyond, Santiago de Compostela. We will then reach Montebourg through the Plain natural region.
how to participate ?
A package on 3 days including 2 nights is offered (full), and it is also possible to register for the day. To register for one or more of these walking days, simply fill out the registration form and return it to the Association by post or email.
The supervision of each day, the visits and the return by bus to the starting point of the day are included in the prices indicated (10 € / day for members to the Association, 15 € / day for non-members, free for children under 12). A list of accommodation on the Path is available from the Association

Friday May 24, Barfleur / Réville:
- 10 a.m. Meet in front of the Barfleur church, before a discovery tour of Barfleur and the start of the walk,
- 15 p.m. Historical break at the Reville church,
15:45 p.m. Departure of the bus from Reville to return to Barfleur.
Saturday May 25, Réville / Saint-Michel de Lestre (19 km)
- 10 a.m. Meet at the Reville church (parking lot),
- Historical breaks at Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, Morsalines and at the Saint-Michel de Lestre chapel.
- 17:30 p.m. Departure of the bus for everyone, from Saint-Michel de Lestre to Reville.
Sunday, May 26, Quinéville / Montebourg (11 km)
- 10:45 a.m. Meet at the Quinéville church (parking),
- Historic breaks in Quinéville, Fontenay-sur-Mer and Montebourg,
- 17 p.m. Departure of the bus for Quinéville for all those registered and end of the event.
Don't forget to organize a carpool for greater conviviality and respect for the environment. Personalized bus will also allow you to reach certain starting points
