Obtaining the “Tourism Quality” certification with the very good score of 95/100!
The Quality Tourism brand is a tool for improving the quality of tourism reception and services in France, developed by the State (via the General Directorate of Enterprises) as part of a national plan.
It allows hotels, campsites, Tourist Offices, etc. to improve their services and secure their management, in particular through repositories dedicated to each activity.
Listening to and satisfying customers are at the heart of the system.
The Qualité Tourisme brand is an element of reassurance for visitors, but also for socio-professionals and elected officials.
The objective of the Tourist Office is to be in a continuous approach of excellence for:
- Permanently improve your internal organization;
- Strengthen its visibility and the credibility of its services;
- Strengthen the tourism development of its territory through the satisfaction of its audiences and the economic benefits thus generated.
A Quality manager coordinates the quality approach and works with a team of representatives in each of the Tourist Office departments.
Since its creation in 2018, the Tourist Office has worked towards certification, through meetings, training and internal audits.
The strong points noted during the audit:
- An ambitious strategy and action plan,
- Good collaboration with the community,
- The “Cotentin Unique par Nature” brand,
- The quality of communication tools, both general public (brochures, website, social networks) and institutional (activity report, strategy),
- The organization of services with operational tools put in place and working,
- The implementation and continuation of the SADI visible in the Concept Store layout of Carteret (furniture, reception area, wall map, etc.),
- A pleasant and well-appointed store,
- Essential training for upgrading skills following the regrouping,
- Quality used as a structuring and internal management tool,
- A motivated and dynamic team with the impetus of the new management.
