The tourist office is recruiting a sales assistant (M/F)

Within the Marketing Promotion department, you will participate in the smooth running of the service.

Missions

  • Work on customer and service provider databases,
  • Telephone prospecting to attract new customers,
  • Customer follow-up (telephone follow-up, e-mail),
  • Establishment of agreements (Cruise Friendly and monitoring of marketing partners)
  • Reporting (CA dashboards, performance indicators, etc.),
  • Writing documents (reports, minutes, administrative letters, press releases, product sheets, etc.),
  • Production of useful travel documents for groups
  • Participation in events and support for the organization,
  • Monitoring of invoicing of group or MICE files (in conjunction with the accounting department),
  • Development of product sheets for setting up an online store (+ product catalog for customer canvassing).

The profile

  • Minimum baccalaureate + 2 training and/or confirmed professional experience,
  • Master IT tools (Office 365 Pack),
  • Have good writing techniques,
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, ease of communication, good elocution,
  • Have a sense of organization,
  • Be rigorous, punctual and dynamic,
  • Demonstrate a real ability to work in a team,
  • Good level of English,
  • Holder of the B permit.

Conditions

Position to be filled as soon as possible, ideally on September 1, 2024, for a duration of 12 months.

  • Duration and times: Full-time weekly duration of 35 hours,
  • Location: Position based in Cherbourg in Cotentin.
