the tourist office is recruiting a cruise coordinator (M/F)
Within the Promotion Marketing department, you will participate in developing the promotion and the Cotentin destination in the field of cruises.
Missions
- Develop promotional materials and ensure they are updated,
- Raise awareness and support socio-professionals, institutions, traders and local stakeholders about the benefits of cruising,
- Formalize memberships to the main cruise networks and participate in working groups and events,
- Represent the destination at trade fairs abroad or at meetings outside the territory,
- Prepare educational tours with companies, tour operators and their representatives
- Conduct reflections and develop actions to better meet the expectations and needs of the cruise industry,
- Ensure the coordination of cruise ship calls,
- Ensure the administrative management of the sector (reports, grant requests, maintenance of the forecast budget, etc.),
- Establish contractual and commercial files and monitor them (quotes, invoices, payment, collection, satisfaction, etc.).
The profile
- Minimum baccalaureate + 2 training and/or confirmed professional experience,
- Master computer tools (Office 365 Pack) and writing techniques,
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, ease of communication, good elocution,
- Have a sense of organization,
- Be rigorous, punctual and dynamic,
- Demonstrate a real ability to work in a team,
- Have a perfect command of English (another language appreciated),
- Holder of the B permit.
Conditions
Position to be filled as soon as possible
- Duration and times: Full-time weekly duration of 35 hours,
- Location: Position based in Cherbourg in Cotentin, travel in Cotentin, national territory and internationally.
