Overview
Leaning against the rampart of the medieval town of Cherbourg, the Trinity Church is one of the oldest monuments in the town. This Gothic building, listed as a Historic Monument, houses numerous items of furniture already classified: the high altar with an altarpiece sculpted by Armand Fréret (1758-1816); the XNUMXth century baptismal font; bas-reliefs of the nave (dance of death and scenes from the life of Christ); XNUMXth century carved alabasters from Nottingham.
