Presentation

The Rugueville estate produces on an area of ​​5 to 6 hectares of land, with low-stemmed and high-stemmed apple trees.
All our products are 100% artisanal. Organic approved

We distribute:
– AOP DU COTENTIN raw and extra raw cider in ORGANIC
– Organic raw and semi-dry cider
– Pommel
– Calvados
– ORGANIC apple juice
– ORGANIC cider vinegar

Starting from a passion for apple trees at the age of 25, following the construction of our house in the middle of a field planted with tall apple trees, I began to make cider for our family consumption.
The opportunity to acquire 5 hectares of agricultural land around the house in 1993-1994 triggered the artisanal start of the plantation, as well as the production of cider, pommeau and Calvados.
Development took place through word of mouth and led to gold and silver medals in the general competition at the Salon de l'Agriculture.
The volumes have only increased over the years.
Out of conviction, I have switched to an organic convention since 2009, while putting in nests for titmice (which eat hundreds of aphids), introducing ladybugs, as well as beehives, because bees promote the pollination of apple trees.
To all this, we had to give an identity and as everywhere in France, we only talk about castles or estates, it was easy for us to name this place “Le Domaine de Rugueville”, without pretension just to have fun since the passion is fun.

Today, my greatest satisfaction is to see this passion continue with the arrival of Nicolas who is taking over the estate and will give new impetus to the development of the cider house.
