Eglise Saint-Martin
CHERBOURG-EN-COTENTIN
– Rue du Général de Gaulle
Presentation
The Saint-Martin church dates in part from the 17th century: bell tower, choir and apse (classified on April 1943, XNUMX). Partially destroyed during the Terror, it was restored and embellished in the XNUMXth century. Elements of Romanesque decor can be discovered, including a bas-relief representing the Last Supper (XNUMXth century), highlighted on one side of the modern altar.
