Overview
Le Point du Jour is both an art center and a publishing house, focused on photography. Installed in a building with contemporary architecture, entirely covered in aluminum, designed by Éric Lapierre and presented at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Le Point du Jour is located near the public garden of Cherbourg, at the foot of the mountain du Roule, 5 minutes walk from the SNCF station.
The exhibitions present current artists, through recent series or a look back at their work, as well as great photographers of the 20th century. Visits, meetings and screenings are regularly offered.
Le Point du Jour is labeled a contemporary art center of national interest.
