Presentation

On more than 1000 m² of exhibition space, along Utah Beach, follow in the footsteps of life during the Second World War.
The panels describe the chronological events of the Second World War in Normandy, from the campaign of May-June 1940 to the liberation in 1944. Beyond the landing and its overall historical context, you can also learn the local history of Quinéville and the Cotentin during the war.
These explanations are accompanied by beautiful scenes that immerse the visitor in the atmosphere of the period. Walk through a reconstructed street, typical of the 40s, with its shops and houses. Also discover many period vehicles and equipment, as well as an authentic blockhouse integrated into the visit and which offers a breathtaking view of the beach.
At the end of the tour, a temporary exhibition allows you to discover each year an original and elaborate historical theme, linked to the Second World War.
A must-see visit just 10 minutes from Sainte-Mère-Eglise and in a superb environmental setting.
