From July 30 to August 22, 2024, in the Salle des Pas Perdus, enjoy a play that makes you relive the fundamental role of the Transatlantic Maritime Station of Cherbourg during the liberation of France in 1944.

Discover an original creation written and directed by the Cherbourg company “À Fleur de Mots”. This piece takes you through a series of captivating tableaux, tracing key moments from occupation to liberation from 1940 to 1950.

Relive the crucial role of the Transatlantic Maritime Station and the port of Cherbourg in the Liberation of Europe in 1944. Presented in the Salle des Pas Perdus, this creation can be discovered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday afternoons.

At the end of the performances, the artists Dominique Hamelin and Claude Chalopin will be delighted to talk with you.
