Tilly, a painter in Cotentin, has been working in oil for over 20 years. After being selected in the biggest salons, and winning many awards, she runs workshops where she shares her knowledge and passion for painting.

Program
Step 1: Day 1
– Morning: painting course (3 hours).
– Lunch in one of the best restaurants in the Hague.
– Afternoon: Commented excursion to the places that inspired the painter.
– Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel The Landemer.
Away from the village of Gréville-Hague, stone houses and old farms sculpt the contours of the Hameau de Gruchy, on the edge of the chiseled cliffs.
Among them, the house where Jean-François Millet was born blends into the decor.
It is in this place imbued with a special atmosphere that Sylvianne, or rather Tilly, her artist name, awaits you.
The “House with a Well” painted by Millet from the ground floor window is still there. This is the landscape you are practicing reproducing, thanks to Tilly’s valuable advice.
For lunch, you will meet the bubbly Mirela at the restaurant. Passionate about art, history and architecture, Mirela will guide you throughout the afternoon to take you to the places that inspired the painter and to dive together into the heart of the fascinating French society of the 19th century.

– Afternoon: Exclusive guided tour of the Thomas Henry Museum.
After a starry night at The Landemer, pick up your brushes where you left them yesterday, at the birthplace of Jean-François Millet.
Still in the company of Tilly, these few hours will allow you to complete your work and still have the painter's childhood home all to yourself.
After lunch, head to the Thomas Henry Museum. in Cherbourg. Nearly two centuries ago, Millet practiced reproducing the works exhibited here, certainly not suspecting that an entire section would today be dedicated to him.
