Welcome to Cotentin for a festive hiking weekend around the discovery of heritage and a region. On a free and marked route linking different villages, at your own pace, choosing your stages and your daily mileage.
THE COTENTIN ROUND
An event proposed by the FFHiking Channel, in partnership with the Cotentin urban community, with the support of the municipalities crossed and local associations.
- The possibility of participating in 1 or 2 days
- Marked route in one direction only free pace
- Steps of 4 to 11 km between villages
- Choice of departure, arrival and catering location
- Time slot and quota for departure and catering
- Refreshments and check-in in each stage village
- Sites, venues and private properties specifically open for the event
- Un shuttle service for return according to the times provided
- 11 food outlets on the course.

This is not a competition. The hiking event is open to hikers of all levels.
THE COURSE
For the 2nd edition:
A course of 90 km and 14 stages “between Land and Sea”
This circuit offers unsuspected wealth and exceptional heritage.
Located in Normandy at the eastern tip of the Cotentin peninsula, Val-de-Saire has a wild coastline shaped by the sea where a succession of sand beaches and coves bathed in light.
In this oceanic climate, lovers of nature and beautiful stones will enjoy crossing these authentic villages.
It's up to you to come and discover this territory that is both endearing and invigorating.
The programme
May 24 & 25
- 8h to 10h Badge recovery
Departure of the hikers - 8h to 16h Refueling*
- 12h to 14h Restoration*
- 17h Check-in
- 15:00am to 18:30pm Shuttle service* only from stopover towns
* on presentation of the badge. After 18:30 p.m., participants must organize their repatriation.
COMMITMENTS
Participation fee (includes shuttle, catering and refreshment) :
- Adult Pass 1 day to 25 € / person.
- Adult Weekend Pass 35 € / person.
- Young people aged under 15 1 day pass 20 € / person.
- Young people under 15 Weekend pass at 30 € / person.
Includes shuttle, catering, supplies, and contribution to the coastal conservation agency.

The stages crossing the sensitive natural sites and areas of the coastal conservation area will be subject to special measures for environmentally friendly practices.

To facilitate the management and monitoring of your registration, please for each participant confirm the chosen route by checking all the planned STEPS and the RESTAURANT PLACE selected Saturday and/or Sunday. Check your options carefully before confirming your order. Your ticket is nominative, it will be automatically sent to you by email after payment, it will be presented at the start to collect your accreditations/badges.
