The Belem will be stopping at Cherbourg-en-Cotentin from May 26 to 30, quai Alexandre III.

After a day of maintenance on the ship on the 27th, the foundation is offering public tours on Saturday May 28 and Sunday May 29, it will leave at 10 a.m. on May 30.

By visiting Belem, you will set foot aboard one of the oldest large sailing ships in the world, built in 1896, more than 120 years ago.

Classified as a Historic Monument, Belem is the museum of life aboard a 19th century sailboat.

The visit will allow you to discover its different living and navigation spaces, learn about its more than century-old history, understand the specificity of its rigging with square headlights and interact with crew members.

A journey through time and on all the decks of the ship, guided by 20 panels, a tour leaflet and a crew available to answer visitors' questions and share their passion.
